Terms of use

1. Provider

mtlr is provided by Pixel Art, Marko Popović s.p., Agrokombinatska cesta 6C, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia. Company registration number: 9549056000. Tax number: 33355673. Contact: hello@mtlr.si.

2. The service

mtlr lets an AI participant join online meetings (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex) or capture a room through a browser microphone, transcribe and translate speech live, and share it with viewers through a link. It stores transcripts per organisation and exports them as TXT, SRT or JSON. Optional features, such as AI meeting summaries and tasks, may be enabled by the organisation. The service evolves, and features may change.

3. Accounts and organisations

• Give accurate information and keep your login details to yourself.
• Each organisation has administrators and members. Administrators manage members, invite people by e-mail and decide who may start meetings and see transcripts.
• The organisation’s administrators are responsible for the people they invite and for how the account is used.
• Tell us at once if you think your account was misused.

4. Acceptable use and your responsibility for participants

The mtlr bot is visible in the meeting as a participant. You are responsible for lawful use. In particular:

• Inform all participants that the meeting is transcribed and translated, before or at the start of the meeting.
• Make sure you have a legal basis for the processing (for example a legitimate interest, a contract or consent) and follow your own employment, confidentiality and data-protection rules.
• Do not use mtlr for anything unlawful, to harass or deceive people, or to process content you have no right to process.
• Do not try to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, bypass access controls or resell it without our agreement.

5. Your content and our licence to process it

Your content (what is said in meetings, transcripts, translations, names, summaries) stays yours. You give us a limited licence to process it only to provide the service to you: to transcribe, translate, store, show and export it, and to keep the service secure and working. We do not sell it and we do not use it to train AI models.

6. AI accuracy

Live transcription and translation are produced by AI and can contain errors: misheard words, wrong names, missing context, wrong speaker attribution. Quality depends on audio, accents, technical terms and language.

Do not rely on the output for legally binding interpretation, certified translation, medical, legal or safety-critical decisions without human review. Summaries and tasks produced by AI should be checked before you act on them.

7. Pricing

• During the free trial there is no subscription, setup or per-user fee.
• Speech-processing usage is paid per usage, as described in the pricing section of our website.
• We will announce any change in pricing or the end of the trial in advance. Prices will stay tied to usage, not to the number of seats.
• Unless agreed otherwise, amounts are in euros and, where applicable, exclusive of VAT.

8. Availability

We run the service on a best-effort basis. There is no service level agreement (SLA) during the trial. Maintenance, third-party outages or internet problems can interrupt the service. Do not rely on mtlr as the only record of an important meeting.

9. Suspension and termination

• You can stop using mtlr and ask us to delete your account at any time. Organisation data is deleted as described in the Privacy page.
• We may suspend or close an account, with notice where possible, if it breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or if the law requires it.
• We may end the service or a feature with reasonable notice. You can export your transcripts before that.

10. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by Slovenian law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damage, lost profit or loss of data, nor for errors in AI output, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or EUR 100 if you paid nothing).

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Intellectual property

mtlr, its software, design, brand and documentation belong to Pixel Art, Marko Popović s.p. or its licensors. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms. Your feedback may be used to improve the service without obligation to you.

12. Changes to the terms

We may change these terms. We will announce material changes in advance, by e-mail or in the app. If you keep using mtlr after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the service.

13. Governing law and courts

Slovenian law applies. Disputes are resolved by the competent court in Ljubljana, unless mandatory consumer law gives you another venue.
